This hand coloured engraving has been hand produced using the old copper plate in a hand operated press. The ink, which has been applied to the plate by hand, is then forced under pressure onto the damp paper to give the image. The engraving is then skilfully coloured in best quality watercolours by specialist artists. The paper used is acid-free and 100% cotton rag.
The plate size is approximately 13"x6" oval
The paper size is approximately 18"x12"
